Zealthy Review: GLP-1 Claims and Care
Zealthy offers several medication and membership pathways. The important checks are which product is prescribed, what evidence applies to it and whether your quote is a bundle or separate care and medicine charges.

Evidence
Has the molecule been tested for what it is sold for?
Each row summarizes human evidence for the molecule and the use being advertised. Results apply to the product, dose, population and outcome studied; they do not establish that this provider’s preparation or program produces the same results. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. Evidence for one use should not be assumed to support another.

Phase 3 trials
What the trials show for Semaglutide
- NCT03548935 STEP 1 — Phase 3, completed, n=1,961. Manufacturer semaglutide injection trial; does not test this platform or every formulation.
This broad statement is consistent with GLP-1 pharmacology, but Wegovy evidence does not establish the same outcome for every compounded formulation or all members.2

FDA found compounded semaglutide claims implying equivalence with approved drugs false or misleading.
What has changed since
This review reads the current public FAQ separately from the historical letter and makes no close-out-status claim.
Assessment
What holds up, and what does not
- Public materials distinguish medicine charges from membership and explain exceptions for named bundles.
- The FAQ describes clinician evaluation and ongoing communication.
- Cancellation and refund terms are publicly available.
- A broad outcome range is not a product-specific prediction.
- Different plan structures make isolated advertised amounts hard to compare.
- The FDA letter records a past failure to distinguish compounded products from approved drugs.
Verdict
The bottom line
Before committing, identify the exact medicine, the clinician responsible for follow-up, the dispensing pharmacy and the total charge. Match the evidence to that product and your treatment goal.

Zealthy offers branded and compounded pathways
Zealthy’s weight-loss FAQ describes clinician evaluation, coaching and access to either branded GLP-1 medicines or compounded options when appropriate. Those are not one interchangeable treatment. Before assessing an expected result, establish the actual molecule, formulation and dispensing pathway proposed for you. 1
A care coordinator can help with insurance or administration, while the prescribing clinician makes treatment decisions. Ask which person handles clinical questions, how a concern is escalated and whether follow-up is scheduled or depends on the patient initiating contact. The public description of support does not establish our personal experience of its quality; we did not enroll or test it.

Average weight loss requires context
The FAQ discusses a broad weight-loss range across several medicines. A number spanning different drugs and treatment plans is not a precise prediction. The FDA evidence for Wegovy injection concerns a defined product, population and study duration. It does not establish an identical average for every compounded preparation or every Zealthy member. 12
Ask whether an expected result is drawn from a manufacturer’s trial, an internal patient dataset or a testimonial. If it comes from the service’s own experience, the follow-up period and handling of people who stopped treatment matter. A result among selected completers can answer a different question from the probability of benefit when first enrolling.
This is not an argument that weight-management medication lacks evidence. It is a request to use the right evidence. The semaglutide and tirzepatide comparison shows why trial populations and regimens should travel with a result rather than disappear behind a single headline.
The FDA letter addressed a specific marketing problem
FDA’s September 9, 2025 letter to FitRX, LLC doing business as Zealthy addressed compounded semaglutide claims that implied equivalence with approved drugs. It was a marketing and labeling finding, not a conclusion that every current prescription is contaminated or that no patient can benefit. This review does not claim a current close-out status. 3
The practical implication is to preserve the distinction between a branded finished medicine and a compounded preparation. FDA explains that compounded drugs are not approved or reviewed before marketing for safety, effectiveness and quality in the same way. If compounding is proposed, ask the prescriber what individual need it addresses and obtain the pharmacy’s identity. 5
Membership and bundles need different totals
The current FAQ advertises a $39 first membership month and says medicine is separate, with a compounded semaglutide starting amount tied to a three-month supply. Its policy separately explains that named doctor-plus-medication plans can bundle membership and pharmacy fulfillment. A price from one structure should not be added to or substituted into the other without confirmation. 14
Request one written quote that names the plan, treatment, term and amount due now. Ask whether a longer medication supply also requires a longer membership commitment. Confirm subsequent renewal charges and what happens when the clinician changes treatment. Those details make the comparison meaningful even before considering which service has the smallest advertised number.
Canceling renewal is not a refund for completed care
The public policy says prescription products are final once issued and filled, and identifies consultation and membership charges as nonrefundable. It describes account-based cancellation before renewal and generally no prorated refund of the current period, subject to stated exceptions or law. These are published terms, not an individualized legal determination. 4
A patient should know the difference between stopping future billing, canceling an unfulfilled order and ending medical treatment. Coordinate the clinical plan with the prescriber while addressing billing separately. Retain the accepted terms and confirmation of any cancellation.
Zealthy is worth comparing where its combination of care coordination and treatment choices fits a real need. Its offer is easier to assess once the plan type and exact product are fixed. Neither an insurance estimate nor a generalized expected result should substitute for those two answers.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is every Zealthy plan an all-in medication bundle?
No. Its FAQ describes separate medication charges; its policy distinguishes named doctor-plus-medication bundles. Confirm the exact plan.
Does the FDA letter establish a product-quality defect?
The cited letter concerns misleading marketing and labeling. It does not establish a contamination finding for every current product.
Does stopping renewal refund the current term?
The policy generally does not prorate the current period, subject to stated exceptions or law. Confirm your accepted terms.

Read our methodology
Claims read first-party
Every quoted claim was read off Zealthy's own pages, first-hand, on the date stamped against it — never from a summary, an aggregator, or an earlier version of this review.
Trials read from the registry
Phase, status and enrollment come from ClinicalTrials.gov; identifiers and journals from PubMed's own records. Nothing here is cited from memory.
Absence claims bounded
Where we report that no trial exists, the page says what was searched, where, and when — never an unbounded claim that nobody has tested something.
Letters matched on full name
FDA letters are matched on the complete company name. A substring match would attach one firm's regulatory history to another with a similar name.
