Terms
Terms of use
Plain terms for a site that sells nothing, stores nothing about you, and asks you to sign up for nothing. What is left is mostly about how far you can rely on what we publish — and the answer is not as far as a prescription.

Before the clauses
What you are agreeing to, and when
You agree to these terms by using the site — loading a page, following an internal link, using a calculator, or clicking an outbound link. There is nothing to sign, no box to tick, and no account to create, so use is the only signal of agreement available and it is the one we rely on.
You confirm that you are at least 18, or the age of majority where you live. This site discusses unapproved substances and injectable preparations and is not written for minors. If you are using it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may bind that organisation to these terms.
What Peptideworth is, and what it is not
Peptideworth is an independent publication about peptides and related compounds. Its subject is the evidence: what has been tested, in how many people, against which endpoint, funded by whom, and — usually the most useful part — what nobody has tested at all. We publish compound pages, goal guides, comparisons, arithmetic tools, and research summaries.
What we are not, stated once so it cannot be misread:
- Not a clinician or a clinic. We diagnose nothing and treat nobody.
- Not a pharmacy, compounder, or seller. We dispense, compound, supply, and ship nothing.
- Not a laboratory. We run no assay and test no product for identity or purity.
- Not a marketplace. There is no checkout here, and no transaction is ever made with us.
The publisher of this site is the site: peptideworth.com. We do not publish a corporate identity here because there is not one to publish, and we would rather say that than invent a shell for it. Correspondence goes to research@peptideworth.com, which is read by a person.
There is nothing here to sign up for
Unusually for a site this size, there is no user-facing account layer at all. No registration, no login, no password, no profile, no newsletter, no comment thread, no forum, no reviews you can post, no file upload, and no payment processing of any kind. The only inputs on the entire site are the calculator fields, and those numbers never leave your browser.
Practically, that removes a whole family of clauses other sites need. There is no user-generated content licence to grant, no account to suspend, no subscription to cancel, and no billing dispute to have. If a feature ever changes that, this section and the privacy policy change first.
Information, never instruction
Everything published here is for general information and education. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a dose, and using the site creates no clinical relationship between you and anyone. Always consult a licensed clinician before starting, stopping, or changing anything.
You accept specifically that many compounds covered here are not approved for any use, that some are sold only for laboratory use and labelled unfit for human consumption, that a compounded preparation is not the product a trial studied, and that an early-phase result is not evidence of long-term safety. The full account is in the medical disclaimer, which forms part of these terms. Any decision you make about a substance is yours, made on your own judgement and your clinician’s, and at your own risk.
Where our links go, and who answers for what happens there
The site links to trial registries, journal records, regulator databases, drug labels, and — on some pages — to commercial providers. We do not control any of those destinations. Their content, pricing, terms, eligibility rules, clinical practices, shipping, and privacy handling are theirs alone, and once you leave this site their policies govern, not ours.
A link is a pointer, not a warranty. We do not verify that a provider will accept you, that a product is what its label claims, or that anything you buy is lawful where you are. Any contract you enter is between you and that company, and any dispute arising from it is between you and that company. We are not a party to it and take no responsibility for it.
How we are paid, in the terms
Peptideworth is reader-funded through affiliate arrangements. Some outbound links are affiliate or referral links, and if you follow one and start a programme or buy a product, we may earn a commission. Your price is unaffected. Affiliate links are routed through a /go/ redirect and, where the relationship is paid, carry a sponsored link attribute.
Commission does not determine which compounds we cover or how favourably we characterise the evidence for them. Pages about unapproved compounds carry no affiliate link and name no vendor. The full account is on the disclosure page; the independence rules behind it are in the editorial policy.
Using our work
The words, structure, evidence tables, charts, tool logic, and design of this site are ours. You are welcome to read them, print a page for your own use, and quote a short extract with clear attribution and a link to the page you took it from — that is ordinary citation and we encourage it.
What we do not permit is republishing pages in whole or in substantial part, systematic scraping or bulk copying, or presenting our evidence summaries as someone else’s work. Third-party names, brands, and trademarks that appear here belong to their owners and are used to identify what is being discussed; their appearance implies no affiliation with or endorsement by them, in either direction.
You also agree not to interfere with the site: no attempts to break into systems, no overwhelming the servers, no malware, no harvesting of contact details, and no use of the site to harass or defame anyone.
Accuracy, and the fact that evidence moves
We work hard on accuracy: every claim is tied to a primary source and citations are resolved live rather than written from memory. We still cannot guarantee that a page is complete, current, or error-free. Trials report, papers get retracted, labels change, regulators act, and a page that was accurate in one month can be out of date the next. Each page carries a date so you can judge how much weight its currency deserves.
If you find an error, tell us. The corrections policy sets out what we do with a report, including when a cited study is retracted, superseded, or has moved.
No warranty
The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the site will always be reachable, that a calculation suits your circumstances, or that any third party we link to will perform as you expect.
The limits of what we are responsible for
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of your use of — or inability to use — this site. That includes any loss, injury, or harm connected to a decision to obtain, possess, or take a substance discussed here, and anything that happens in your dealings with a company we link to.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for access to the site (which is nothing) or the minimum the law requires. Nothing in this section excludes liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
If your use of the site causes a claim
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising out of your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, your infringement of someone else’s rights, or your unlawful acquisition, import, or use of a substance. This covers what you do with what you read; it does not extend to anything caused by our own wrongdoing.
Availability, and our right to change the site
We may add, revise, unpublish, redirect, or retire any page or tool at any time, and we may suspend the site for maintenance or for good. We may also decline access to anyone abusing it. None of that requires notice, and none of it creates a liability to you, because nothing here is sold to you and nothing here is promised to remain in place.
Governing law, and what to try first
Start with an email. Most problems on a publication are factual, and a factual problem is fixed by fixing the page — write to research@peptideworth.com and describe what is wrong and we will engage with it properly. We ask you to raise a complaint with us before taking any other step, because it is the fastest route to the outcome you actually want.
If that does not resolve it, these terms and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the site are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The parties submit to the state and federal courts sitting in New York for any claim that has to be litigated. One clarification, because the two get confused: choosing New York law is a choice about which rulebook reads this agreement. It is not a statement that anyone is incorporated, registered, resident, or trading from there, and nothing on this site should be read as one.
That choice has a hard limit, and we would rather write it out than let you discover it. Where you live may give you consumer-protection rights that cannot be signed away by a clause on a web page — including the right to the protection of your own jurisdiction’s mandatory rules and, often, the right to bring a claim in your local courts. Nothing in this section reduces, waives, or displaces any of those. Where they conflict with the paragraph above, they win.
If part of this does not hold
If a court finds any clause unenforceable, that clause is limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce something immediately, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. These terms, together with the privacy policy, the medical disclaimer, and the disclosure, are the whole agreement between us about your use of the site, and they replace anything said earlier. You may not transfer your rights under them; we may transfer ours if the site changes hands.
Changes, and how to reach us
We revise these terms when the site changes or the law does. The revised version applies from the moment it is published, and the “last updated” date at the top of this page is the honest record of when that was. Material changes will be legible in the text itself rather than buried — and since there is no mailing list here, we cannot notify you, which is a reason to check the date rather than a reason to assume nothing moved.
Everything — questions, complaints, corrections, permission requests, and legal notices — goes to research@peptideworth.com.
